  1. TUTORIAL TWO

5. By providing examples explain how the following two theories apply to the class room.
a. operant conditioning.
This is focused on how the effects of consequences on behaviors. It begins with the idea that certain consequences tend to make certain behaviors happen more frequently.  For example the teacher ask question for class and a student gave correct answer, there the teacher give positive comment by saying the student that he/she done a good job, or the teacher ask the class to give clap to that student. For operant conditioning there is reinforcement. So in this the reinforcement is saying that the student done a good job or asking the class to give a clap.

 b. Classical conditioning.
In this conditioning student doing actions by the way teacher normally treated. Such as the teacher came to class in a rude mood and like a very strict person than the students label the teacher as a rude and strict teacher. At the same time the students behave in a certain way.  The students maybe quiet in class because of their judgment, and their mood even changed by that situation.

17. Provide an example of how the teacher can help students with Zone of proximal Development.
Transferring the children from knowing to unknowing things with the help of expert. In these level students gets new schema about the things that they have learned. For example one day little boy sow a picture of a bird and his mother told some features and characters the bird have. In the movement that boy will store that how the mother describe the bird in the new schema. He learned new things about the bird with the help of his mother.
